Is 2024 the Year to Declassify Your Products?

With OSHA enacting Rev 7 of the Global Harmonization Standard (GHS) now is the time for product reclassification. Not only will you save money by producing non-hazardous materials, your clients will appreciate the products you provide.

Scientifically Validating Products as Safe and Non-Hazardous
Reddwall Solutions High Precision Fractionation Laboratory with GHS-XRC(M) Apparatus on the lab bench and 5-place analytical balances to assure precision.

GHS-XRC(M) – A proprietary method of separation in which we naturally isolate the respirable fraction so it can be further analyzed for toxicological potential.  Having successfully changed the classification outcome of 100’s of products, this is a proven technique and accepted throughout the international regulatory community.

Measuring the environmental and occupational leachability potential of product hazardous ingredients.

Leachability Release – Using recognized methods to assess natural leachability of your products (329 Ind. Admin. Code 10-9-4 and MOPS-Mucin), we accurately determine whether hazardous ingredients in your material are bioavailable and capable of causing exposure.  If not, your product is legally reclassified as non-hazardous.

The Reddwall Solutions dustiness testing chamber along with a bar chart comparing dustiness levels of a product profile along with a table categorizing dustiness by mass fraction.

Dustiness Testing – Measuring the release potential of your product allows comparative analysis of exposures.  Using standardized methods (EN 15051-2:2013), we compare the dustiness of your material against known standards.  Should your product fail to release particulate, it is a strong candidate for hazard declassification.
